Abstract

Motivated by the absence of dark matter signal in direct detection experiments and new physics signals at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the speaker and his research team study new indirect approaches to explore dark matter and baryogenesis by future experiments, such as Square Kilometre Array (SKA)-like, Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA)-like experiments.

About the speaker

Dr. Huang Fapeng received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from Peking University in 2015. He was a postdoc at the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences during 2015-2017. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe of Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in South Korea.

Dr. Huang’s research focuses on Higgs physics from precise calculation to new physics beyond standard model, particle cosmology (baryogenesis, dark matter, inflation), gravitational waves physics, effective field theory (including soft-collinear effective field theory), loop calculation and collider phenomenology.
