As there may be no-shows for the “HK Phil x HKUST Shaw Auditorium | Community Concerts - The Magic of Mozart & Dvořák!” this evening, you may come in person at 7:00 pm to line up outside Entrance A4 of the Shaw Auditorium for very small number of unoccupied seats.
Overview
The Shaw Auditorium, a state-of-the-art multi-purpose venue, is home to HKUST's arts and cultural activities, and a new landmark for our scholarly and ceremonial events. The Shaw Auditorium not only provides the flexibility to create a vibrant yet diverse arts and cultural scene on the Clear Water Bay Campus, but also supports meaningful and remarkable experiences for the HKUST community.
To mark its official opening, and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the University, two community concerts performed by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), Asia’s foremost classical orchestra, will be held in the evenings of 18 and 19 November 2021 at the Shaw Auditorium. The concert program is as follows:
