The Gordon Research Seminar on Marine Molecular Ecology is a unique opportunity for early-career scientists (mostly graduate students and postdocs) to present their cutting-edge research, whilst gaining mentorship from leaders in the field.
During this meeting we will dive into the molecular networks of marine life at all levels, from viruses to fish. In the marine environment, molecular processes drive broad ecological dynamics from system level functions (nutrient cycling, ecosystem stability) to individual organisms (response to climate change, ocean acidification, invasive species, ecotoxicology, virus-host systems, holobiont). This meeting will focus on both the molecular interactions between organisms and with the environment.
