Abstract

In 2016, the GO matches between Google’s computer program AlphaGo and Korea’s world champion Lee Sedol have drawn global attention to artificial intelligence (AI) technology. AI has since become a global megatrend, and many Chinese enterprises and investors are involved in this trend. Why does AI suddenly become a global topic? What developmental stage is AI currently at? What limitations do AI have? Are speech recognition, dialogue systems, and unmanned vehicles practical? What kind of jobs may eventually be replaced by AI? As an expert in AI field, Sogou’s CEO, Mr Xiaochuan Wang, will answer all of the questions above and explore the possible forms of AI technology in the future.
