Overview
The Gordon Research Seminar on Marine Molecular Ecology is a unique forum for graduate students, postdocs, and other early-career marine scientists to present and discuss new data and cutting-edge ideas.
This meeting will provide interdisciplinary insights into marine molecular ecology from big to small scales, focusing on interactions between viruses, microbes and macroorganisms and the ecological impact of environmental stressors resulting from climate change.
Planned session titles:
• |
|
Molecular Insights into Cross-Kingdom Interactions
(marine holobiont functioning, chemical signaling and metabolic exchange, co-evolutionary dynamics, molecular adaptations, virus-host systems)
|
• |
|
Interdisciplinary Studies of a Changing Ocean
(ecological impact of ocean warming and acidification, invasive species, ecotoxicology)
|
