Overview
Recent experimental discoveries of new classes of topological phases have challenged current understanding of topological phases of matter. Moreover, the scope of topological phases has been extended from non-interacting topological insulators to topological semi-metals, topological superconductors, interacting topological phases, and topological photonics/phononics. The number of possible experimental platforms for these topological phases has been increased accordingly. On the theoretical front, various interacting versions of topological phases have been proposed to occur. On the other hand, experimental realization of such interacting phases is not immediately within reach. The conference aims to bring both leading theorists and experimentalists to discuss recent advances in diverse areas of topological-phases research. In particular, the conference plans to actively promote collaborations between people in different research areas for better understanding and future discoveries of a wider class of topological phases of matter.
