Abstract
The speaker studies the Higgs-Yukawa model coupled to the higher derivative gravity, which includes operators up to dimension 4. Using the functional renormalization group, he obtains the beta functions for the cosmological and Newton constants, the coefficients of higher derivative gravity terms, the scalar mass-squared and quartic coupling constant, and the Yukawa and non-minimal coupling constants. He finds that there exists non-trivial fixed point, and analyzes the structure around it.
