HKUST IAS-Asia Pacific Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Matter (Dec 5-9, 2025) HKUST IAS-Asia Pacific Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Matter (Dec 5-9, 2025)

Overview

This Workshop aims to bring together leading researchers from Asia-Pacific area to discuss cutting-edge developments in the realm of condensed matter physics, with a focus on strongly correlated systems, superconductivity, nonlinear and nonreciprocal responses, and their intersection with topology and quantum geometry. Topics include but not limited to moiré transition metal dichalcogenides, quantum metric effects in flat band materials, strongly correlated phases in few layer graphene, superconducting diode effects, nonlinear Hall effects in magnetic materials, altermagnets, nickelate superconductors and kagome compounds.

The Workshop will provide a platform for fostering scientific dialogue, building long-term collaborations, and advancing understanding in this rapidly evolving field.
