Jointly organized by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Stanford University and University of California San Francisco (UCSF), the goal of this conference is to advance international collaborative interactions between American, European and Asian scientists to advance effective and responsible use of non-human primates in neuroscience.
A major focus of the conference will be in the use of non-human primates for studies on cognition and social behaviours useful for enhancing scientific understanding of primate and human brain function in health and both degenerative and behavioural disorders.
American, European and Asian leadership’s vision for future development of NHP research as well as limitations that could potentially be alleviated by international collaboration will also be covered in this conference.
