OverviewThe themes of the program will cover various areas of scientific computing, including algorithm development, modeling and simulation, numerical analysis, as well as applications in science and engineering. This program will focus on promoting the interaction and collaboration with researchers in the greater China region. In recent years, tremendous progress has been made in the research fields of applied mathematics and scientific computing in China, whose research has more and more strong worldwide impact. HKUST has strong and active research groups in the areas of scientific computing. This program will also strengthen the ties on both research and education between HKUST and the institutions of Mainland China and other countries/regions in the greater China region. Group Photo
